One statement says that "of course, you can not deal with politics, anyway politics will deal with you" (Montlabel S.).
Unfortunately, or fortunately, the political activity of those who rule and dominate greatly affect societies of both the past and today. Events and issues such as the wars and disasters that have taken place so far, underdeveloped countries and cultures that are in conditions of poverty, acceptance of diversity, gender equality, racism, the imposition of strong versus weak and many others seem to have a direct link to the policy.
As a result, politics and what is happening in the world could not go unnoticed from the artistic field as well. Both the seriousness of the events and the need to raise awareness and awaken the audience for them inspired several singers and musicians to create and display songs with political and social content.
Some of these songs are:
1) The Script - "Divided States of America"
2) Green Day - "Know Your Enemy"
3) The Black Eyed Pies - "Where Is The Love"
4) Bob Dylan - "Blowin' In The Wind"
5) Michael Jackson - "They Don't Care About Us"
6) Green Day - "American Idiot"
7) Scorpions - "Wind Of Change"
8) Green Day - "Troubled Times"
9) The Cranberries - "Zombie"
10) Green Day - "Say Goodbye"
11) P!nk - "What About Us"
12) Green Day - "Revolution Radio"
